HOLY HELL

In the midst of starting this blog, and essentially starting my life all over again, who calls me?? My ex-finance, Mark, of course! This is actually the third time this week he has called me. I couldn't resist-I had to talk to him. I wanted to, I think. So we got to talking---he really is a sweet guy when he isn't blasted with his usual poison-Jack and coke....yes the white stuff.
I was with Mark for 6  years before we decided to get engaged. This was really a long haul for me because before Mark I was never into long term things. Call me the runaway bride- I don't care.
Anyway so the first thing Mark has the nerve to ask me when he called was "Are you single?" How do I answer that? "Why, yes Marky, my hot black hunk of an ex just dumped me for another dancer...so as of recently, yes I am single." Please! I'm sorry but I can't move that fast and nor should I. [I may be wild on stage when I dance or wild in the VIP room with my clients,but I am normally not that crazy when it comes to those that I am actually romantically involved with.] So I take Mark up on his offer to take me to lunch this Saturday. Why not? I have no problem accepting that. Yes, I do the "dating for dinner" thing. Even though I make an undisclosed amount of cash from dancing every night, you know that isn't enough for a nice place in NE.
So Saturday it is......just got over Pierre and I am already licking Mark's nuts...why?
